Double Sharp is an innovative approach to a two pianos duet. Natasha Rubin joins fellow Russian-born pianist Maria Demina to create a program that combines a unique sound and visual presentation containing authentic, highly technical and attention captivating music. This music is then accompanied by a theater like set design created by well known artist George Yepes resulting in an audio visual experience like no other.

Both pianists graduated from St.-Petersburg Conservatory in Russia and represent the same piano school that proved to be most beneficial for their musical interpretations of duo repertoire.
Their inspirations have a vast range from the seriousness of Diaghilev’s “Russian Seasons” in Paris to the whimsical nature of Liberace.
